Tiansheng insists that his shoes help him run faster. He's always running to his destinations, so he never takes them off...which makes it hard to test his theory.

This villager is a Treasure Trekker. Treasure Trekkers can immediately be called to the campsite or cabin upon completing their respective map. Tiansheng's Map can be obtained through Shino and Pals' Island.
