Fishing Tourney 49 (Blossom)

Fishing Tourney 49 (Blossom) is an event featuring C.J. which utilizes the Saltwater Shores location. The event introduces rare types of fish, as well as elegant peach-colored rewards.

The tourney began on Apr. 13, 2022 and the player could collect fish to complete the challenges and goals until Apr. 19th, 2022. The trophy earned for the tourney was available in the player's mailbox from Apr. 19th to Apr. 20th, 2022.

Fish could be obtained in various ways:

• By fishing with the regular fishing rod near sparkling water, for a total of 6-9 spawns per 3-hour rotation. There is a 13% chance for a single spawn to result in capturing two fish at the same time.
• By renting the Golden Rod and using it to fish near sparkling water, for a total of 6-9 spawns per 3-hour rotation. Each spawn will result in capturing two fish at the same time.
• By using the Tourney Throw Net to capture x6 random tourney fish.
• By buying a Lg. Tourney Throw Net and using it to capture x1 Longsnout Seahorse, x4 Pot-Bellied Seahorse, plus 5 random tourney fish.
• By talking to villagers at the campsite and receiving fish in addition to the normal reward.

Fish could be turned in to C.J. at any point during the tourney, although once a player has at least 20 fish in their inventory, C.J. would automatically collect them all.

Only one trophy is received at the end of the event, for the highest level reached.

Any tourney nets left over at the end of the event will stay in the player's inventory and may be used in future fishing tourneys at either location.

Catch 20 of at least 15.0 cm. x 1 Pot-Bellied Seahorse collecting! Catch 8 of them. x 1 Pot-Bellied Seahorse collecting! Catch 25 of them. x 1 Pot-Bellied Seahorse collecting! Catch 10 of at least 31.0 cm.

Total-Size Rewards

All of the fish caught by the player and given to C.J. will have their sizes added to a total combined size. When this combined size reaches a goal, the player receives a reward. Excluding trophy rewards, one of the items within that reward pool will be randomly selected.
