Together! Summer Smash
For the Together! Summer Smash event, players had to cooperate to achieve a global goal. The event featured a minigame in which the player had to tap the screen when a moving image lined up with its outline. Scores players achieved during the event period were added to the sum total of all other players' scores. The event began on Jun. 30, 2023 and ended on Jul. 7, 2023.
How to Play
Each minigame round required using a Together! Event Ticket (Summer Smash) to start. Three
Together! Event Ticket (Summer Smash) could be obtained through the mailbox by tapping the
icon that appeared on the right side of the screen. Using a ticket would give the player 3
Leaf Tickets as participation reward, regardless of their score or whether the overall goal score was achieved. Even after the event ended,
Together! Event Ticket (Summer Smash) could still be used from the inventory menu, and the player would still get participation reward items.
Minigame
In the minigame, the player had to tap the screen when a moving image lined up with its outline. There were three images of watermelons, with one swaying side-to-side and the other two rolling across the screen at differing speeds. Tapping when the image lined up closely to the outline would result in 1 watermelon per image. There was no time limit. The music would speed up with every image. Whether 1, 2 or 3 watermelons were obtained affected the ending cutscene that would play after the minigame round:
- 1 watermelon: 1 watermelon would be broken open and 1 villager would join the player in eating watermelon slices.
- 2 watermelons: 2 watermelons would be broken open and 3 villagers would join the player in eating watermelon slices.
- 3 watermelons: 3 watermelons would be broken open and 5 villagers would join the player in eating watermelon slices.
Scores
Players could view the sum total of their score of all their minigame rounds, and a list of that of their friends and some miscellaneous players.
The global goal score was 2,000,000 watermelons, and was reached on the second day after about 35 hours. The final global goal score was 3,129,559 watermelons.
