Together! Ka-BOOM

For the Together! Ka-BOOM event, players had to cooperate to achieve a global goal. The event featured a minigame in which the player had to tap the screen as many times as possible within a time period. Scores players achieved during the event period were added to the sum total of all other players' scores. The event began on Dec. 30, 2022 and ended on Jan. 4, 2023.

How to Play

Each minigame round required using a Together! Event Ticket (Ka-BOOM) to start. Three Together! Event Ticket (Ka-BOOM) could be obtained through the mailbox by tapping the icon that appeared on the right side of the screen. Through tapping the icon or by accessing the Leaf Ticket pack purchase menu, players could also purchase up to three Together! Ka-Boom Ticket Packs which each granted 60 Leaf Tickets and Together! Event Ticket (Ka-BOOM) x2. Using a ticket would give the player 3 Leaf Tickets as participation reward, regardless of their score or whether the overall goal score was achieved. Even after the event ended, Together! Event Ticket (Ka-BOOM) could still be used from the inventory menu, and the player would still get participation reward items.

Minigame

In the minigame, the player had 10 seconds to tap the screen as many times as possible to make blasts. Each tap equaled 1 blast. If the player did not tap the screen at all during the minigame, they would get 1 blast as their score. The music would speed up and the animations and sound effects would intensify after tapping 25? times and even further after tapping 60? times, and reaching these milestones affected the ending cutscene that would play after the minigame round:

• <25? blasts: Small amount of firework, one villager clapping
• 25-60? blasts: Medium amount of firework, four villagers clapping
• >60? blasts: Large amount of firework, 5 villagers clapping and one posing with the player

Scores

Players could view the sum total of their score of all their minigame rounds, and a list of that of their friends and some miscellaneous players.

The global goal score was 200,000,000 blasts, but was not met. The final global goal score was 189,447,062 blasts.
