Holiday 2017 is an event held in-game from November 30, 2017 to December 26, 2017.

This event featured special Christmas-themed furniture and clothes which players could obtain through crafting and event-specific Timed Goals.

Almost all of the special event furniture required an event-specific crafting material Candy Cane which was awarded by completing requests for villagers, completing timed goals, and occasionally as a featured reward through Shovelstrike Quarry.

The Red Stuffed Stocking was an event gift given to players through their mailbox for a limited time.

A player could also spend Leaf Tickets instead of Candy Canes to craft furniture at a ratio of:

• 1 Candy Cane to 1.2 Leaf Tickets for the furniture needing 50 or less Candy Canes
• 1 Candy Cane to 1.3 Leaf Tickets for the furniture needing 100 or more Candy Canes

Event Challenges

These were timed goals which lasted the entire duration of the event period which rewarded Candy Cane, Holiday-themed clothing, Leaf Tickets, and one Sparkle Stones. The Timed Goals are as follows:
