Poses are a feature that allow the player to make the player character and villagers strike a pose while using the in-game camera and AR Camera mode.
How to Strike a Pose
While using the 
in-game camera, tap the player character or a villager to choose a pose.
In AR Camera mode, tap the bottom-right menu button and tap Pose to choose what pose the selected villager strikes.
It is not possible to make other players' characters or villagers that are interacting with furniture strike a pose, nor is it possible for the player character to strike a pose when they are sitting on a seat or lying on a bed.
