New Year's 2018 is an event held in-game from December 26, 2017 to January 10, 2018.

This event featured special New Year's-themed furniture and clothes which players could obtain through crafting and event-specific Timed Goals.

Most of the special event items required an event-specific crafting material Countdown Charm which was awarded by completing requests for villagers, completing timed goals, and occasionally as a featured reward through Shovelstrike Quarry.

Two items, New Year's Noodles and Red New Year's Hat were Special Bonus Gifts given to players through their mailbox for a limited time.

Event Timed Goals

These were timed goals which lasted the entire duration of the event period which rewarded Countdown Charms, New Year's-themed Clothing, Leaf Tickets, and one Sparkle Stones. The Timed Goals are as follows:
