We are currently aware of the following issue.

Known Issue

The game force closes after you "Shared!" with a friend and tap on a garden flower before the "Here's your reward!" screen appears during the Redd's Summer Festival event that started on Aug. 03, 2018 at 7:00 a.m. (UTC)

Notes:

This issue does not occur if you do not tap on the screen until the "Here's your reward!" screen appears.
Even when the game force closes, the action is counted so when you return to the game you will receive the "Here's your reward!" item.

This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the next update.
